Transition Coaching

Things are going along  just fine, then life happens. If you’re lucky, you get some prior warning, if not, it hits you like a brick.

  • What do you do when your job disappears?
  • Your parents or loved ones can no longer care for themselves?
  • You want to fulfill your dream?
  • Divorce, widowed and you’re suddenly alone?
  • Won the lottery? or lost everything?

There is a natural tendency for people to fine a comfortable lifestyle and pattern of behavior. The older we get, the more comfortable we become in what we’ve created. Often we dream of a change, but the fear of the unknown is greater than the dissatisfaction with the known, and we continue on, unfulfilled.

Sometimes change is forced upon us. A sudden loss of job, a marriage or partnership that is breaking, a parent who suddenly can no longer care for themselves. The personal toll that these changes takes on a person can be emotionally and financially costly, and can easily lead to other, unexpected difficulties. What should be remembered is that you are not alone. You do not need to solve these problems by yourself. Others have been through what you’re experiencing.
Transition Coaching will not solve the problems, but it can certainly help you deal with them more easily and efficiently. It can help take the hurt out of the pain.

Careers

The recent economic turmoil has cost people their livelihood and in many cases their career path. Companies close, operations are outsourced, and other factors have totally eliminated certain career functions. Yet we still need to support ourselves and our families. What else can we do?
